Dekker has entered the beginning phases of independence. He likes to do things on his own. Sometimes, this is nice, like eating his oatmeal with his own spoon out of the bowl. Sometimes, not so nice, like when he feels he should remove his diaper. At dinner, he has begun refusing to eat unless he can mimic Stef and I. He wants a fork. He goes from not touching pork loin, to eating 2 whole slices (cut up, obviously), if you hand him a fork. We usually have to ‘load up’ the fork for the first couple tries, then he goes on to stab away.
